Redline 1680? Experts help. (Pics)

Here are some pictures of an alleged 1680. Seller states it may have an aftermarket case and does have an aftermarket bezel??? Tell me what you think of the watch. He says he put on a new genuine crystal and crown. Were they triple lock?

I did not take these pictures.

I am not an expert, but I do know that reds are one of the most counterfeited watches out there..

To say that it "may" have an aftermarket case reduces the ability to authenticate it by several magnitudes..

It is not unusual for triplocks to be fitted to earlier Subs.

The pics just do not make sense (a dial under a crystal in an empty case, a case back by itself, etc...), and they are of poor quality too.

Run away as far as you can from that dial.. As for the case--run farther away.
