dj dial ?

hi, i have a dj 16030 which i bought new mid-'80s. are there different variations of the "rolex" font found below the 12 hr marker? i've compared mine to a dj from the mid-'70s and found the '70s dial to have a slightly thicker font. though the character graphics are the same. i didn't know if the '70s dial was orig or refinished. there's so much after mkt out there too. thx
