Black casual strap - OEM vintage vs Micah G-Black
Currently debating between an OEM black vintage and a Micah G-Black with slate or black thread.
Anyone have any experience with, or comments on, either strap? Thanks. |

I have Micah's flat black strap it's fantastic, I can't speak for the other one though.

i had the black vintage back then, it's really special, it's distressed leather makes it different compared to any other oem straps. very soft and nice to wear.

Probably depends on what watch you are buying it for. I had the black vintage OEM. It's really nice but I think would work best with a historic model with more plain dial. Didn't like it so much on my 233.
Micah with black thread might work better with a more ornate dial. If memory serves, I think you have an arabic dial PAM so I'd probably choose the Micah. |

Thanks, guys.
Looks like it's G-Black or back to the drawing board. Will think about it. Re: OEM vintage, it does look great, but I agree that on my green lume/white paint 164 it might not be a perfect match (better on ecru), plus I recall discussions on p.com about the OEM vintage line not being very durable. |

Hey Cru - can't comment on the Micah but I have the OEM vintage in the brownish / tan color and yeah, didn't seem to look too matching on the 233 IMHO. Probably works better on the classic/simpler dials and Luminor cases.

Actually, that's the OEM vintage calf I was talking about. Looks great in the pic. Thanks for the heads up re: John. I'm sure his is quality for sure. |

Thanks, Bryan. Yeah, I'm thinking that, one, there's the look of the strap and, two, its pervasive ecru color, that probably both clash a bit with green lume PAMs. Thanks for the thought. |

Good luck with it! It's a lovely soft strap.

Yes - its the same strap as the one on the 372. Believe with the 372 they come with both the reddish tan (my one) and a dark brown.
