Next PAM suggestion
I am selling my PAM 416 and what do you suggest for my next PAM? I have my heart for 233 but wife may kill me for spending 10K+ for 233 .

You're selling the 416, so, you're not spending anywhere close to 10k to pick up the 233. Plus, in the long run, if you don't do it now, it'll be more expensive for you.

The 233 is perfection. I just recently bit the bullet and went for it. It sure hit the wallet hard, but no regrets at all.

I would agree, the 233 is the one you should get. In the long run, It's cheaper to get it now as you know you'd get it anyway at some point in the future at its inflated price.
Bite the bullet! Cheers!

I should go check a 1950 case on my hand but I have a DSSD so thickness should not be a problem. Thanks everyone for your suggestion

I'm thinking any of the new 4xx historicals (372, 422, the new Rads - Cali and SLC dials, etc). What about going with a Sub (305, for example)? All of the above are priced sub-233. Speaking of the 233...

Speaking as a guy who finally located a 233 Dot I can say that it was worth every penny and every hour spent on it. You should be able to find one between $9-10k for sure. You will NOT be sorry!

Get the 233 with the DOT indicator, then tell her it is an "older version" and was "on sale" and "look how much money I saved us"
You should be in the clear after that. |
