glashutte original sport evolution
One of my favorite in my collection. Does anyone know what kind of steel the watch is made of? It is virtually scratchless. My Omegas get scratched easily, so does my new rolex; however the Glashutte has not a scratch. Not even the tiny annoying ones.

I am guessing 316L steel, but I don't know for sure. Most of the industry uses 316L steel, including Omega. Rolex uses 904L and as far as I know, they are the only company with this difference. But if you find a bit more definitive answer, let us know.

You can't be right because the watch absolutely doesn't get even the smallest scratches.

One feature I especially like about the GO line is that their big date models are very legible so you can read the date at a glance. Plus, I have heard several comment the bracelet is quite solid feeling on the Sports Evolution model. Sounds like a wonderful watch.

Perhaps you could post a pic of the scratchproof steel GO.

I might do that. The last few times I dropped by they didn't carry it in stock but they may have changed their policy on this since then. Regardless, I would love to see one in person.

You might have to ask them, as I noticed they didn't have all of the GO watches in one place. Hope you like it!
