Are these too Rolex Sports models expensive?
Hi guys,
Got an itchy trigger finger for my first Rolex, wondering if you might care to comment on prices from this seller, who's in my town (and so convenient for me). http://www.watches.co.uk/watch.php?wid=6092S (this one's listed as a 'special offer') http://www.watches.co.uk/watch.php?wid=5559S http://www.watches.co.uk/watch.php?wid=6191S Really appreciate any feedback on these prices, thank you. |

None of these are particularly good buys - why not save a bit more and get a new one from a reputable dealer?

Hi, thanks for your response.
It's considerably more expensive to buy new, beyond my budget I'm afraid. Also I can't justify buying brand new in order to lose value as soon as I walk out of the door. I recognise this may not be an issue for others, but shiny and new hold no intrinsic value for me, in fact I prefer the older beaten up models. Thanks though, I appreciate the feedback re pricing of these pieces. Merry Christmas :) |

For some reason, some countries have high prices for Rolex. Australia certainly has and I don't see a lot of 'bargains' in the UK. Check Rolex's for sale in the States . Buy with care.

Cheers Eddie,
I think I may just go for it. US prices are cheaper but bringing them into the UK (by post) attracts a 17.5% custom tax, which pretty much levels out any saving. Thanks again, and all the very best to you for the new year :) |

The third item , ND for £1695 is not a bad deal. Push for £1600.
The seller has a good reputation for service as far as I am aware of.
