Date Didn't change!?!?
Just got a new Explorer II from an AD yesterday, They adjusted date time and 24hr hand on it when I purchased it.
I happened to go to bed last night a little after midnight, and noticed the date was still stuck on what would be yesterday (23rd), I gave it till 12:15 AKA 00:15 and it still had not changed so I took it off and adjusted date on my own. Since I bought it before NOON and it didn't change after Noon yesterday I assume it is on the correct 24hr time, I even have the 24hr/GMT hand on current time not a different time zone. I will keep an eye on it, any suggestions to ease my mind. Thanks |

I remember reading that sometimes some dates can be "stuck" and therefore they jump not at 00:00 but later on. You can solve the problem by going through the "stuck" dates manually and cycling back and forth few times. (EXPERTS CONFIRM?)
Anyway, you set the date manually, therefore you do not know if the date was about to change later or never. I would suggest to wait a few days (or do some testing by setting the time at 11.55pm) to properly understand the problem. |

Give it a run through of the dates, loosen it up a bit

Set the 24 hr hand to midnight...
Now jump the hour hand around until it changes the date.. Now your have them both synchronized... pull the crown/stem all the way out and set the 24 hr hand to the proper time and the hour hand will go along for the ride..
