Kinda like NYPD blue when it came on back in the day..happy viewing won’t tell you what happen tonight other than two of them got kidnapped on a routine call by meth heads crazy ending..

While I usually can't stand cop shows, my wife turned me on to this one. It is entertaining. And thanks for not giving away tonight's episode. The teaser last week looked pretty good and it's currently on our DVR waiting to be watched.

As a former career cop in a big city pretty real too and authentic. Expecially the way the officers talk to and badger each other.

This episode was crazy. My wife almost lost her mind. Definitely, the worst case scenario.

Yes, all of the good reviews finally got to us, so we started from S1 episode 1 just a few months ago, and are now at the beginning of season 2. I heard it gets much better once it leaves the network and goes to cable.

We are huge fans of "Justified," so now that the most recent season ended I think we will be watching more and more "Southland." It is pretty realistic.

It's a shame. This weeks episode might be the last. Like I said, it's tough for cops to watch cop shows, but this one has been entertaining.

For the most part, I do not like television shows that portray professions. Having said this, there are a few that I believe do a pretty good job and Southland is one of them.

Southland is very reminiscent of Jack Webb's Dragnet and very similar to Adam 12. Adam 12 was spot on with the types of incidents the officers responded to. Southland does a very good job.

On a side note, having watched it in HD recently on my new television I've noticed that the camera's lenses sometimes are scratched. Sorry, I just had to throw this in because I was just talking to someone about this.
