Help identifying these Longines?
We received this pair as a wedding gift many years ago. They're probably 1999 models. Does anyone know the approximate value of these new and now?
Thanks! |

ok after doing just a bit more reseach, the l5.659.2 is the model number. of course google doesn't have a whole lot on it other than an ebay auction on a different model.
And apparently Longines doesn't have much of an online community as a search for Longines forum comes up pretty sparse too. |

For what appear to be gold plated quartz Longines, I'd guess the original price would have been in the $600 - $700 range. Your best bet for information is probably to contact the Swatch Group Customer Service:
http://www.longines.com/eng/html_lon...er_service.cfm As wedding gifts, they'd have mainly sentimental. Resale won't be high, I paid >$300 each for the automatic 5 star Admirals below.

Since I'm not a big fan of gold ... and it wasn't from my parents or my in-laws...the value to me isn't much
I'm guessing the resale on these things aren't high and they're not rare and in-demand pieces right? How much do you think I can trade them in for at Tourneau? They're basically new. |
