I personally use PayPal. It has built-in safeguards, and can get your watch to you a lot faster, if the seller uses it and you have an account.

Paypall gives me that little extra sense of security, and it's instant which is nice. I have only used a money order one time and I had some serious anxiety over it, I definitely prefer paypall.

Paypal your guaranteed protection up to $2,000. So if you buy a watch that's $3,000 on ebay. Your only out $1,000, if the seller skips out on you.

Best thing is to know you can trust the seller/buyer!!!!! It all works, Paypal, bank wire, money order. No problem as long as you can trust the guy on the other end of the deal!

Paypal is usually the easiest as you can also use your credit card to ensure that you are protected from fraud.
F2F deals, cash is king. All of those would still need to be backed up by due diligence by checking the seller's / buyer's references.
