Gmt Jubilee Bracelet

...I have bought two GMT2's over the years with factory jubilee bracelets. Always really liked the look and feel of this style. My question is: When did Rolex stop shipping the GMT2 with the jubilee bracelet? I haven't seen any of the D or Z serial versions at AD'S jubilee equipped, but I haven't looked too hard.

I may be wrong, but I do believe that the Jubilees fitted to the 1675s were not carried over to the 16750 introduced in 1981. Mike would probably have the best answer to this one.

I have a U series 1671 with Jubilee sold by an official dealer in 2004. Was my watch really sitting around for over 20 years?

Wow, I have never seen one at an AD with a jubilee bracelet. I always thought that you had to buy it seperately. Clarification would be much appreciated.

The Jubilee was an optional order item on the 16700 and i beleive the 16710. Maybe Bo, or someone can repost that really cool chart that lists bracelet options....

Whoops, looks like I was wrong about the Jubilee not being carried over from the 1675.

Mike, where the devil are you?

Definitive info as usual Mike, but are jubilees rare on the last shipped 16710's?

The only time I have seen a GMT II on a Jubilee bracelet (factory configuration) was in London last year in an AD on Regent Street.

GMT-II Jubilee

Here is a picture taken last October at an AD in Dubai,
you can see 2 GMT-Master II fitted with Jubilee bracelet.

I don't know if this information is relevant, but my 1675 SS GMT came with the Oyster bracelet as standard. That was in 1967. I had to buy and fit the Jubilee bracelet separately.

My K series [2001-2002] GMT II came with the oyster bracelet. Purchased a jubilee from a friend on TZ that, according to the clasp, dates from 2005.

Yep. Our older models came with a riveted bracelet. The jubliee didn't become available till the 70s.

Hi Mike - just for the record, the original rolex brochure I have from 1967 illustrates a gold GMT with a gold Jubilee bracelet. I bought the SS Jubilee for my SS GMT around 1970 - I've got all the receipts and documents covering the history of my GMT, but seem to have lost the receipt for the Jubilee!

Stan.

So if these 16710s are new, what or which jubilee bracelet fits on them? I need to get one!
