Got some nato straps today do like them but think I prefer the metal bracelet.

to me, its like buying a car with some sweet tires and swapping them out for some sears model

Agree with you there hands down. Especially with the newer bracelet with brushed small links.

Nice looking straps, I'm not a strap kinda guy but I want to get a couple just to have in case I ever have a bracelet problem.

Yes I was the same as you I always buy watches with metal straps but bought them just to see what they where like and I'm really pleased with it on the omega although I don't like the omega metal band as much as Rolex metal bands

Yes. I think the speedmaster looks better on a strap or NATO. I don't really like the metal bracelet that comes with it...Now the PO on the other hand....

I don't mind nato's on my Sub , but tried a couple on my Gmt (Pepsi) & changed them back in about 30 seconds . I just couldn't find a nato I like on it . I have lots , tried different colours but for me it is a model I prefer on steel .

Would have to agree - a NATO looks good on a Sub but would not be so keen on one on a GMT.

I prefer the oyster too, but enjoy playing around with natos every once in a while

But with a Gmt you can use a jubilee . A sub , not so much . A datejust always steel or two tone even gold but never nylon . I guess there are unspoken rules of Rolex bands .
