Just sold my TT DJ - what should I get in 2008?

Hi, I just sold my TT DJ. Miss it....

The reson I sold it is that I felt too young to wear yellow gold. I also like to have a possibility to buy a Rolex after the Basel world.

I have always dreamed of the classic Explorer I. But, should I buy the Explorer 114270? Will it be updated this year, hmm?

I also have liked Gmt II coke 16710.

I will check what Rolex can come up with in the Basel before buying....

Or should I get a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak??

Seriously?

Have a look at the SS/Pt. YM. The pics myself and others have posted cannot do it any justice. You have to hold it in your hands to understand what I'm talking about.

Good luck - JJ

I would wait until Basel and see what comes. But then again, any new model or update from Basel wouldn't be likely to become availible at the AD's before autumn or even later.

Hi, JJ! I have considered platty... I like platinum, but the listing price is a little bit high.

Hmmm, maybe the SS GMT IIc?? Hmm??
I will wait for the Basel world and see.

The YM and GMT II are excellent choices. You will have some time to make a decision if you are interested in buying after Basel. Best of luck.

Miss the DJ:
I don't think there will be much of a price difference between the two models.

If you prefer Ceramic, then that's fine. Check out both and see which one smiles back at you.

Good luck in your final decision - JJ

Maybe a GMT 16710, they won't be around much longer... I was in Manchester at the weekend and only one left between 5 AD's...
