My New Year started 2 minutes early..
I noticed my TT Sub was losing its accuracy so i decided to put it on a test. I set the time roughly 2 weeks ago and this morning i took a look at http://wwp.european-union-eu.com/italy/time.htm to measure my watch's accuracy turns out it gained 2 minutes :(
I only bought this watch last June, should it be losing so much time already? Do you have any observations or recommendations you can give me? Thanks, Claude |

Bring it in for regulation.

That's about +8.6 seconds per day. I would take it to a RSC for regulation.

Hi Claude,
That calculates out at about +8.5 seconds/day and is just outside of the COSC limits of + 6 secs/day. Some might not be concerned about this and some would want to have it adjusted. In my location (Adelaide) it would take about 3 weeks to do this via Rolex Melbourne. In the States and in Europe it seems that this adjustment can be made in 15 minutes at any AD. I don't know the situation for AD adjustment in Malta. If you bought it in June then it is not due for a service so you will need to decide if you are prepared to have the watch opened and adjusted for the sake of 2 -3 seconds/day. Happy New Year. Eddie.

Thanks for your replies guys. Back in the summer it never lost any time for me i remember havin gained only 20 seconds in a month, but that's when i used to wear the watch all the time. Could the inaccuracy be down to a lack of wearing the watch (but never letting it stop)?

Sometimes they just need a little tweak. I've had several regulated. |

It's an easily solved issue. Get it adjusted. Should only take ½ an hour.
