My wife's sister and her 13 year old daughter
Came over yesterday to eat fideo and she was watching me play acoustic guitar .....or try to learn into "crazy on you" by Heart. Well she had never seem any women play rock guitar and became obsessed with Nancy Wilson now.
She learned the intro faster than me and I gave her my Squire Strat copy and my Fender Champ amp. Of course she had never heard of Heart or the Wilson sisters.....He mother called me this afternoon to tell me Tania stayed up all night looking at youtube videos of Heart and keep them awake all night and now wants to be a female Rock guitar player ....and blames me for giving her the Strat copy....of course!I told her mother let her have some fun....who knows we need another "Heart" to come along....Tania may be the one. Going to make a video of her next time she comes over .....she even looks like a young Ann Wilson.

I got an email from her telling me seeing them (Heart) play was like her getting struck by a bolt of lightning and included a 90 sec web cam of her playing " Barracuda"
I told her about Joan Jett and Lita Ford too .....she has played acoustic guitar since about 5 year old .....so when she hears it once or twice she can play anything. |
