I like the old school 1680 that had large hour markers. It seems that Rolex for a time went to smaller markers but from what I have seen the new subs have those big markers again.

So what sub models have the large markers?

Anything with a matte dial (5512 5513 1680 16800) before the gold surrounds. On the moderns, anything in a supercase, except the 16610LV - which has a maxi dial.

Thanks! Is there a modern sub with bigger markers that can be had for under $5k?

5513 maxi dial can be had for a little more of 5k! A bit closer to 6k side that is
