Yes sir they are. But it will still sell like hot cakes!! Time to search for The RO15300 to tide me over for the next 2yrs before prices of the YM2 starts coming down.

I doubt it's $60,000 US. Unless you do that thing where the AD ships it to another state. I'm guessing your $80,000 dollar guess is better than the $60,000. Just a guess though. The blue/black GMT is looking at around £700 more than the black. That's not bad actually. I'm surprised they didn't spin it by talking about how hard it was to make a two colour ceramic bezel and ask for £2,000 more. The SS YMII is damn expensive. That's a lot of money for SS. |

Too rich for my blood.
These 16710s for $5.5K don't seem so crazy anymore!

A "reliable source" told me we're looking at an 8% increase across the board in June/July so that ties in somewhat and means the blue/black GMT will only have a small premium over the LN.
Bloody ridiculous money for the SSYM2 though IMO.....

Yea, I reckon so. Maybe a slight price difference for the bi-colour (a la LV) but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't use the extra interest to crank up the price of the GMT - possibly above that of the sub!

Considering actual GMTc is 6900€ in Italy and the new one is 7350€ , it represents 6.5% more. As 116710ln is 8450us$, we can imagine 116710blnr will be around 9000us$ for US citizens. |

Also that thing you guys do where you ship it from another state doesn't exactly sound like it would be too much work. |

Gentlemen Rolex makes them and we buy them, sometimes at ridiculous prices. I'll stick to the pre owned market for now, sure the prices will start to go up there too considering the price hike on new Rolex's.

Glad I just got a new GMTc from a trusted seller for a great price. Not a fan of the new bicolor bezel, why oh why didn't they go red and black.

Yes we do have sales tax in most states and quit calling me Shirley. A little humor from the movie "Airplane". |

As many have said...pre-owned and vintage are looking mighty good! Still, that new GMT is starting to talk to me the more I look at it! Grrr....

$15.800usd for the YM2 isn't too bad. As for the $63.320usd for the new plat Daytona... I'd rather get another plat DD2 instead or a SkD and a WG DD2.
