Hey guys i need some help from the pro's here. I found these pics can somebody identify this watch? I 've never seen a day-date like this before. Any help would be appreciated. It is made in 1956 as stated in the pic but does this watch really exist? Have you seen something similar?

The writing and numbers are in Arabic, so I guess this is the TRUE arabic numerals LOL.

Apart from that haven't got a clue!!

Well, it's one of the first DD's, with a Brevet crown.

Today, the DAY language comes in all major languages, and I guess already from start on, Arabic would have been among the languages availible for the DD.

The dial itself is custom-made (dial figures), I believe.

I've never seen a dial like that....but I certainly have not seen very many in comparison to the number Rolex has produced.

Date fonts were available in over 20 languages and I have only seen a few of those too...

Even if the numbers have been applied to the dial after production, I do not see anything that would make me think the watch is not an authentic Rolex...

I have seen DDs with arabic date and day before (this one reads Tuesday 27th), but never Arabic dial numbers, so Larry and Bo are probably correct in saying that they are an after market customisation.

Well, most of the languages are "all Greek to me" anyway!

I think also the dial may be original.
In these days there have not been a lot DDs coming out of production.
I have an 1965 AD which states that for France the delivered production has been 100 in the whole year!
So 8 years back, why not providing an arab numerals dial for the first customers?
Any way the 6611 is one of the rarest DDs around.
