vintage 1503 restoration
Hello all,
Recently I inherited my grandfathers 14K Rolex 1503 caliber 1570 Date (SN#5607259). I just had it professionally cleaned and serviced by Bob Ridley of watchmakers International. When I received it it had an aftermarket 14k jubilee style bracelet. Currently I have an alligator band on the watch. I'm interested in putting a vintage Rolex oval 14k jubilee bracelet on this watch to return it back to the condition it would have been in when my grandfather received it. He "won" this watch after 30+ years of service to Ford Motor Company. If is "signed" (engraved with Henry Ford II's signature on the back). I understand this watch model is not particularly valuable but it has great sentimental value to me. My questions are:
Thanks, Dan |
