I don't think so. I enjoy interesting complications and I think the new movement is amazing but it somehow kills it for me that they included the date and month but not the day of the week. Has anyone ever looked at their watch to verify what month is it?

In my perfect world I would replace the second timezone with a day wheel and have a perfect calendar watch.

Too large, I do not need the functionality and I do not care for the look, which I understand is related to the functionality. I can say the same thing about the YMII, no interest at all in either model in any metal.

Yes. Today I looked at my watch (Datejust) and was happy to see that it wasn't May yet. In my mind in was April 31st.

However, I took a call on my cellphone and to my dismay I became aware that it was already May!

Yes, it's an annual calendar - the only time you have to alter it is in February

it's a beautiful watch, but just doesn't fit my taste. Who knows how I will feel about it in 10 years from now but as of today I wouldn't do it

Nope, never. The Sky-Dweller is an interesting time piece, but for my wrist it's too big, too complicated for a Rolex (IMHO), too expensive, and the dial layout is odd. For the same price (of what a SS SKD would most likely cost) I'd much rather go for a pre-loved gold DDII or a Patek 5146J.
