Availability of the new 2013 models?
The more I see the new blue/black GMT M2, the more I'm considering adding it to the collection.
Any idea of when it will hit the stores? And are ADs already taking pre-orders? Thanks! |

Depending on the part of the globe they typically start showing up in the late summer to early fall. It`s up to the AD if they will take pre orders but most do.

Thanks! I'm in NYC, so hopefully they'll hit the shelves earlier rather than later.

Have you asked your AD? I'm sure they'll take your deposit.

I just recently saw the new YM with the blue dial about six weeks ago in the dispaly case at Wempe. This was the first time I saw this watch. I was in Tourneau in January and asked if they had the new YM and the salesmen just laughed. |

I gave up years ago waiting for new releases from Basel to be available for purchase.
My focus now is what is in the showcase or what can be gotten quickly. Too frustrating waiting for the glacially slow process of introducing watches and then focusing on next years show before anything reaches a dealer. I can think of two watches that I wanted and might have bought after their images were shown at Basel only to find out that they were discontinued before they were even made.
