My Rolex Oysterquartz 17000 & Bob's watches
Hello to all Dear Rolex friends on this planet!
Today I recive package from Bob's watches and inside was my Rolex Oysterquartz from 1978, MK1. First of all, I wolud like to say, that my experience with Bob's watches were great. I'm from Slovenia and I saw Rolex Oysterquartz MK1 in Mint condition on Bob's watch page couple weeks ago. Immediately I send them mail and later we have a few phone calls. Lady, salesgirl Miss. Madison Bray was very, very friendly and kind. She answer to all my question and for me she really is a Rolex Pro. Thank you Miss. Madison Bray & Bob's watches, I will be back soon ;-) And here we go with the photos: Greetings to all, from the only country in the world with word LOVE in it's name ;-), SLOVENIA |

I'm usually a mechanical watch kinda guy, but if you're gonna go quartz, Oysterquartz is the way to go. What a beautiful watch and movement. It looks great. Enjoy.

Looks like 1 of the 1st Oyster Quartz. No chronometer wording on the dial. These watches use the Mark I 5035 movements. They were not submitted to the COSC for "official" testing. Nice find

That is an awesome watch, been looking for one but the ones I've seen are either too beaten or too expensive.

Oysterquartz is truly a unique watch, and for a quartz, that's a very beautiful movement. The first time I've ever seen it!

Stunning. For lack of better words, it's a very masculine looking watch. I love the angularity of the case, the chunky (large) bracelet links and the austerity of the monochromatic look.

Stunning watch. I've bought two from Bob's and was completely satisfied each time.
