The AP Bug has bitten again :)

Just got the AP Jumbo 15202 and really happy with this special piece. It was between this or the 15400 in the end after trying on and reading about the history and heritage of the royal oak it was a no brainer decision. In fact if funds allow I would get the 15400 in blue as well as I hear its being discontinued and it would be great as a daily wearer while the Jumbo for more special occasions.

I used to own a rubber clad offshore and a Safari years ago both of which is no longer in my collection today but at this time I am interested in getting an offshore to complement the dressier Jumbo. Which offshore would you recommend? Thinking of:

- The steel 44mm chrono offshore
- Diver in steel
- Panda chrono 42mm
- Safari again ?
- bumble bee

Thanks for your suggestions and advise ..

I'd get something different from the Jumbo so it'd be the Bee.

I love the Panda-ish dial one with the black bezel and rubber strap personally....

I would get the Diver or Bee.

The Diver is certainly the most timeless design though...

I think the forged carbon is probably one of the most unique touches they offer. That would be my preference.

my vote goes to the Bumblebee, as mostly is the case in ANY of these threads because i truly regard it as the best ROO which is not Limited Edition

the carbon case, the ceramic bezel .. those two alone are enough reason
the yellow is NOT as binding as it would seem in pictures, the watch truly does go with everything from my personal experience

the panda ROO is a love of mine and my first ROO.. but i have given up on steel bezel ROOs and that ticks out the Safari, the Diver, and the Panda for me

BB vs 44mm white face.. i would say ceramic bezel is enough reason to consider either.. but to me the arabic numerals, the yellow, the strap w/ deployant clasp are all favouring the Bumblebee

GOOD LUCK and enjoy the hunt

Forged Carbon .. FC Diver for a Non-Chronograph or The Bee if u need the Chrono function. Think 42 by 54 mm case is perfect for just about any wrist ..

The 15400 is not discontinued. The 15400 with blue dial is now a boutique exclusive pieces. Get a SS Diver to complete the duo with the Jumbo.

It is a gorgeous piece for sure and the bezel is more resilient than the steel one on the regular AP panda....

You need to buy the XS Strap. It is best to try out first. The Diver wears big.

This thread is pure AP porn.

Ceramic or FC Diver (FC looks good on the BB strap!) or BB would be my choice to complement the Jumbo. Or maybe the RG RO on leather strap or RG ROC?

Think you're right the jumbo and the diver would be a killer pair
