Rolex DateJust II New Owner

Hello peeps!

I have purchased a Datejust 2 with a diamond bezel and diamond dial, I hope you like it!

I own a Rolex Submariner in Yellow Gold, a Day Date 2 as well, but got a bit tired of yellow gold so I decided to give stainless steel a try!

Diamond bezels aren't really my thing but who cares as long as you like it!

Now lets see those gold Sub and DD2... that's much more to my liking.

Is the word "Perpetual" on the dial spelled "PePPetual" on this one?

I think we may have a problem here...

Hmmmm, that and there shouldn't be lime on the hands... This is either an aftermarket dial (and likely bezel) or it is a... Dare I say... FAKE!!!

Plus I'm pretty certain rolex does not offer a diamond bezel or a black diamond dial in the djii lineup

That thing has a lot wrong with it. Take it back, get a refund and name and shame the vendor.

Bezel and dial are not Rolex, I would be very concerned the entire watch is a fake.

I just recorded a quick video showing the watch:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFf-z...ature=youtu.be

I was told by the seller, both the dial and bezel are aftermarket, I personally like the diamond bezel, as for the dial I dont really care, I wanted a stainless steel watch!

The seller told me the watch is 100% Rolex, he has already sold me Day Dates, Subs, so he is OK!

I think you may be a bit confused, if it is "aftermarket" dial, etc...then it is not 100% Rolex...."aftermarket" means it was created by someone else and not the Rolex factory. But if you like the look than that is what matters.

does not look good. Better check your other watches since they came from the same seller!

This is clearly someone doing a probe test on the forums to see how good of fake they have and if it passes to people who know.

Are you saying the RSC returned it to you with the dial and bezel you had on it?

I personally find it impossible to get past that atrocity of a dial to appreciate or respect even a little the overall authenticity of the watch. Put the head of a pig on a beautiful body and people will see a pig. Anyone who posts that pig on a body in a forum with pride shouldn't be surprised the general reaction to it is one of disgust.

Sorry, but your watch is ugly, period. Having a nice behind doesn't help it when the face is so wrong it's godawful.

If you are only showing one picture of the watch and it has a spelling mistake on the dial, you cannot blame me for thinking something is fishy with it. As you said you are, get a new dial.

What's the deal with the crappy photos? Does the watch say "Folex" or maybe "Subbyriner"?

Wow people! This type of crap is what makes me love (not really) chat rooms. "Experts", if you thought it was fake, then contact a Moderator and have the thread remove.

1. If it is a fake, I don't want the thread around.

2. Amazing, it says more about the responders than the faker......

3. Sorry for the rant, but this is so stupid!

Enough said, have at it!
