Take it to the nearest RSCentre and they will check the watch for you. It´s the best way to verify it.
Good luck |

I will comment on the dial only:
Matte dial Submariner with "SUBMARINER" on top of the depth rating if legit means its a Maxi 2, 3, 4, or 5. The coronet is correct for a maxi 2, as are the characteristic open 6's, the shape of the letter "S" in Submariner, and the centering of the text. The serial number is correct for a maxi 2 as well. Enjoy the weekend

wait a minute, the case does look kind of funny... hard to see from the angle of the picture. can you unscrew the crown and take a picture at the back and near the crown area?

I have to agree that, based on the photos, the case is counterfeit. It is too thick and not cut properly around the crown cards. These are the same characteristics as found on counterfeit cases offered at the "forbidden" web site that we won't discuss further.
Although the dial appears more genuine than counterfeit, I wouldn't be surprised that it is counterfeit too.

I fully agree with Springer...the case is a fake...do not buy it and go to the RSC to have it back...waste of time and money...
Kindest regards and best luck next time |
