When i bought in 1990 at a watch show, every exhibitor had 20 of those. I bought it because I did not have the money to get a new one. I just picked the one which looked the newest ... Inhad no clue what to look for. Later i did not like it because the indexes looked so different from the new version ... So i did wear it only when inwent to the beach or has to do some work ... Like moving house, etc. when i had it serviced in 1999 the AD told me not to have the hands and dial changed ... Which i wanted ... He said it would be wrong to do that ... I am so glad that i did listen to him ... When the watch came back from Rolex, i saw in the service papers that the watch is from my birthyear ... Since then i love it and would never part with it.

This AD must be one of a kind ! Let the public learn his name.

Nice!!!

I have a 1968 5513 as well! I just gave mine the Polywatch treatment and put her on a NATO strap. I need someone who can restore the original 7206 rivet link bracelet for it though... any recommendations?
