Leather Strap - Vintage Rolex
Team
I'm getting my grandfather's old 1950's era 18K model 6285 back from servicing shortly. It is currently mounted on a vintage gold bracelet, but that's not really my style right now and I was trying to figure out an alternative and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for specifics, or general manufacturers I could look at. I'm not concerned about the strap being rolex - I'll keep the gold bracelet for use in future. I was somewhat thinking about a leather cuff of some sort, but not sure if that would be a huge faux pas for such a watch. Any ideas/suggestions from you all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Either tan ostrich, croco, or alligator would be perfect. Here is my 6085:

I love Horween shell cordovan leather straps; they just become more comfortable as you wear them. I recently bought 2 excellent custom shell cordovan straps from jankoxxx on this forum.
