need help with vintage chronograph movement
I had this watch for about 4 years now. It is running but keeps terrible time and the chronograph function is not working. The chronograph will run for a little bit and stop, but it still reset to zero. I want to have this watch overhauled and repaired. Can any one tell me how much does it usually cost? and can you also tell me something about the movement?

Interesting. It looks like a 60s or 70s re-issue of the 40s chronographe. The movement looks like a Landeron 17J manual wind movement.

Although there's some corrosion on the case, the inside looks reasonably clean. Thankfully it's manual wind so fewer parts to worry about. You'll want to work with a good watchmaker who can fabricate or modify modern parts to fit in case you need new parts as I doubt replacement parts are easy to find. You may have to source a parts watch, worst case. If all the parts are in good shape, then a simple service should be easy.
