Funny Sexist joke

Heard the one about about the watch forum trying to promote the participation of female members?

Knock knock

Who's there?

Sexist arsehole

Sexist arsehole who?

Sexist arsehole who got banned from the forums.

--------------------------------------------------
There's a difference between funny and offensive.

If in doubt, stop typing.

Tough call because sexist stuff is like porno... hard to define but you know it when you see it. The few examples I've seen here lately have been pretty obvious. Thank you Paul...

Once again, Pat - you put into words my sentiments exactly. That certain air of mysogynism (I think that's spelling is close) is hard to miss. Definitely a different flavor than the usual goofy stuff.

Colloquial correctness varies.
Define the offense so those w/o your perspective may benefit.
We have aboard a very eccentric group.

Hopefully, that will not happen again, Lisa. We were all over it!

And as far as that "goofy stuff" goes...

Here's my idea about identifying what offends: If you wouldn't like it said to your wife or daughter, it's better left unsaid.

nah, its not about any joke in this forum actually but some remarks a member made ........

if you read back quite a few pages on the jokes forum you would find the joke which raise quite a bit of hairs (both guys and gals) here ........

Elaine is right. Even the joke - women and screen doors - wasn't what got us riled. It was what someone said about women as a result, and then a couple of personal attacks followed.
