AP on TV

Don't ask me why it was on, but last night I turned on the TV and Miami Airport 24/7 was on. A guy had been caught going through customs with ~10-15 APs, mostly gold. They said the value was $400k. It was surprising how much attention they spent describing the watches, and their worth. Anyone else see it?

What a nice wife... Abandons husband at the first sign of trouble. Wow, just wow.

I don't get it though... Seems like the couple was just passing by the Miami airport to reach their destination. You still need to declare them? Makes no sense if the watches are not staying in the US.

Thanks for the link. Just a thought, but what if they were indeed smuggling these watches and they flew with them on their wrist and brought some friends along. Wouldn't this go unnoticed opposed to having them all in a purse for Christ sake?

Thanks for the link. Very interesting.

Wasn't one of the officers wearing a two tone sub date?

Seems like a Customs Agent got a nice toy to take home, think they all made the evidence locker, weren't there 10 before the camera started rolling...
