New SS YMII inquiry

As folks are starting to receive theirs, I'm enjoying the photos so much! But something was bugging me and I couldn't figure out what it was and I finally pegged it! The case is brushed and I'm slightly disappointed! I have waited quite some time for this release as the full yellow gold is not in my budget, and now I'm a bit let down. Why would rolex not polish the case of just the stainless steel YMII? Was it polished at Basel?

It was brushed at Basel. Probably done to differentiate it from precious metal models. Easy enough to get the case polished by a watchmaker if you really want that.

I really like the Rolex models that are all 18K gold...there is just that extra something when you see a watch which is all gold!!!

It is what it is but a few minutes with a Cape Cod Cloth will make it shine if you must have it polished and shiny.
