should i....?
thinking of selling my black themes and getting a diver and a panda. then later down the road a rubberclad.
i like the themes, but it looks too similar to the diver which i do eventually want to own and my wrist is too small to get one of the 44mm roo's (thank god or i'd be stony broke) and i do want to own a few roo's because i like the design so much. so would this be a nice diverse collection, bearing in mind i can only wear 42 mm's and i'm not a very big fan of forged carbon: 1. diver 2. panda 3. rubberclad p.s. i prefer neutral colours that can match anything so that's why i wouldn't go for a bumblebee, volcano or navy. |

Considering your preferences I would go with :
Panda on bracelet Safari Rubberclad |

Panda and Diver, and heck maybe you will warm up to the Diver ceramic that's coming out (but it does have a orange tone).

Panda and Diver is the perfect sports/dress and white/black dial ROO combo for all occasions. After that a RG RC.

hi guys thanks for the input.
not too keen on safari and to be very frank i'm still liking my themes more than the panda at the moment so i might just get a diver and see whether the similarity between them starts to drive me crazy! also i'd prefer my roo's on leather or rubber strap and maybe i'd get a 15400 at some point for that beautiful metal strap. |

Though both watches look very similar but they are two different kind. The Black Theme on leather strap is a subtle yet elegant watch for all purpose wearing while the Diver on rubber is a lot more sporty and could be your daily beater. I suggest that you keep your Black and get the Diver and let the two run on your wrist for a while and decide whether you really want to flip it for the Panda or other great watches. Happy hunting! |

i dunno man... the panda somehow doesn't appeal to me. i think i've narrowed it down to
1. themes 2. diver 3. rubberclad hope they all don't look too similar |

Black Theme and SS Diver might look similar due to the SS bezel and all black dial, but they wear quite differently due to the bezel thickness, numeral and stick hour markers and overall case profile. The Diver looks much more modernised to me and looks best on the rubber strap. However, the Themes goes really well with either the leather strap or bracelet. RC is definitely iconic and there's a choice of white and black dial. But the rubber bezel needs some care and potentially more costlier to repair if damaged.
I would say keep the Themes and get the Diver! Good luck! |

Panda and Diver would make a great pair, but the rubberclad is a great looking ROO and would also work with the diver. The Black themes does not have enough contrast on the sub dials for my taste so I say go for it. Good luck with your decision.

I used to own the Diver but as nce as it is the black themes is just better.
It seems like a lot of money for a full circle to a Panda and Diver, but it's up to you!

went to the ap boutique yesterday and did some major window shopping and trying on:
diver: stunning. the dial is really beautiful and shimmery and has that jet-black ' always wet look' that i could never get when looking at my black themes rubberclad: nice and sporty, but somehow looks better in pictures 15400 white dial: breath taking bracelet. clean and classy looking panda: not as sporty as diver or rubberclad. i'm still undecided about this one. looks a bit 'safe' and not as edgy. ok i think i'm getting the diver soon.... :) |
