I don't think they do it at regular intervals. Apart from the anniversary models, it seems to happen whenever they think they're ready to roll out a new feature like sapphire crystals or solid end links.

And then we have the interesting "upgrade" of the Milgauss. Or should it be called a revival of the Milgauss??

I wonder why Rolex chose to re-introduce a model that did not sell well, at all, back then?

But I guess that Rolex was confident that the "upgrades" (depends on your view on things if you'd consider them to be upgrades) of the Milgauss would make it sell better this time. And I guess Rolex was right!

Well Bo regarding the Milgauss quite simple, now the vintage
Milgauss is bringing telephone number money. There are many
wannabe Milgauss clients out there.Same for the vintage Daytona
IMHO a new Daytona with the vintage look could be on the cards
in near future. And lets be honest here there has not been what I would consider a major upgrade since introduction of of the Cal 3035 in 1989 and perhaps the SEL bracelet. All the rest just purely cosmetic non lug holes etc less case production time = more watch cases.
