Question on 114060 Sub verses 116610 Sub
I would like to know the general consensus out there about having the non date version 114060 sub instead of the 116610 sub. I like both but in todays world don't really need the date version besides there is more to break or service. My concern is do people think the non date is sub par to the date? Let me know what you guys think out there.

It's basically the same movement in the same case on the same bracelet. I prefer the SubC to the SubC Date because of the cleaner dial.

Ya know,...I've worn the date sub forever; however I recently picked up a 114060 and everything else is just sitting.

So far that's 3 for 3. Not bad. Sounds like I made the right choice. Thanks

A date complication is highly unnecessary. Go with the 114060!
P.S. Who cares what anyone else thinks?

Maybe unnecessary for some but I prefer the date. I like both but went with the date model!
To each his own and to own his each! Enjoy your watch!!!! |

To me 114060 is cleaner and is almost always on my wrist. I went thought the same decision process you are going through now...and whatever you choose you really can't go wrong.
Don't think about what others consider of one vs. the other. That really has no relevance over what you like! |

I don't get why people say a date isn't necessary, I used mine twice today. If if useless preface your comment by saying "to me".
I like the 114060's dial better. I'd love to own one but not as my only watch. |

Pretty simple ... If you are going to wear it when at work and need to ref date ...have the date...if not - the no date is one to go for as looks great and less common

Like others here, the pleasure I derive from the clean, uncluttered look on my Sub is exceeded only by the seemingly endless debate over the two watches.

If you are the sort of person who can't remember what he had for breakfast, then a Sub-Date could be convenient. Otherwise, go with the Sub...it sounds like you prefer the design.

One isn't better than the other.
I've worn watches with dates all of my life; but, I've been wearing my Sub for a while without disruption to my life or work -- and I need to know the date daily. It's amazing what you can remember, if you have to. With the Sub, I realize that I personally don't need a date window. |

I currently have the ND Ceramic Sub and it is my favorite right now. I have owned several Sub Dates and enjoyed them. I like the clean dial without the date. You cannot make a wrong decision because both are keepers.
