Panerai plus

I have always been a one watch guy. Not sure why but I think in part because I could not see tying up a lot of money in several watches, and I don't like having to explain myself to the Wife.

As a result, I have let go a couple of pieces which I would love to have back. Within the next year I have set a goal to acquire four watches which I really admire. They are ...

1. PAM 422 (have)
2. PAM 389 (can't stop drooling over)
3. Patek 5167A (can't stop staring at this one)
4. Rolex GMTIIC (All black bezel and a re-buy for me)

I will buy a winder and rotate them. Yes, that's about $50k in watches but you only live once and I'm already 1/4 of the way there.

If YOU could assemble a collection of not more or less than four and at least one has to be a Panerai, what would they be? For those of you who already have more than four, narrow it to four only.

The "realistic" list:
1) Rolex GMT-IIc (have)
2) Panerai 312 (inbound)
3) Omega Speedmaster (had and sold)
4) JLC Reverso Grande Date (had and sold)

I would be really comfortable with this set without blowing the bank. If money weren't an issue...

The "dream" list:
1) Rolex 116619LB (the blue is just beautiful)
2) Panerai 203 (classic)
3) Richard Mille RM011/005 (unique and rare)
4) JLC Reverso Gyrotourbillon (iconic JLC piece)

Nice lists!

I'd like to get a Sea-Dweller (1665, 16660, 16600, or 116660). On the Panerai side, I'd like a 127 and a 210...but I don't think I'll be getting any more watches this year.

I could never sell my GMT 2c...it's sitting a lot more since I bought my 372...but I love it and buying it new (or even used) would cost me a lot more than I purchased it for already.

a lot of $ for sure, but without looking it up i would say the PP is probably costing you some extra dough... :)

My experience is you never know until you try it on. The one I'm fairly certain I'll never sell is the 232. Unless I get a 3646.....*dreaming*

So I need to find 3 more perfect watches!

PAM 305
AP FC ROO
Rolex 116718
PP 5980 blue

That list can change at any moment, but off the top of my head these are all attainable or already have.

As for other PAMs on my want list...
389
233
425
