How much is a Red Sub worth?....

I'm wondering how much i should pay for a late 1972 red sub.
It's all original and IMHO a 9.5/10. Period bracelet but NO
ORIGINAL PAPERS. Depth rating reads 660ft/200m (not the more
desirable 200m/660ft). I fell in love with it but i don't want that
to cloud my judgement. Asking price is $12.500. Any thoughts?.
Thank you.

way too high. do you know the serial number?

Sellers are posting them high but they are lucky to get 9500.00 USD for them.

Welcome to TRF!

The price is actually about right. 1680 Red's don't come cheap anymore, and a 1680 Red that is comparable as what condition and lacking papers are concerned sold for 58,000 DKR. in Denmark just recently (= US $ 12,200).
