Need your help 24 or 243
Hi All - I am adding a Submersible to my rotation and this question has been asked for many times before, 24 or 243? I have access to an "I" 243 and a "M" 24. The price difference is only $450. The small price difference is making this decision harder for me. What do you think? I need to make a call soon!!

243 for sure!
Both nice Subs, but I don't need to think twice on this one. |

I'm getting a 24 'O' because of the budget can't afford the 243. In your case, I'll definitely go for the 243

Thanks guys. I know, the 243 is great. Just to add a little complexity to the situation. The 24 is from a trusted seller here but the 243 is from someone I have no history on Paneristi. My heart tells me to get a 243 but to be safe my logic tells me to get the 24!

both are great! depends on how the 1950s auto case sits on your wrist....if top heavy or uncomfortable, go with the 24.

Ok, the seller of the 243 just emailed me several pictures. The numbers on the watch back, boxes, Warranty card and the tag all matches. Usually when I see that I am quite confident the watch is checked off. Your thoughts?

For reassurance you could ask the seller to provide references from prior transactions or if they have worked with any of the more well known sellers within the community. |

243 hands down! Only 24 series I think is worth it are the original A, B and C series with the polished bezels.

Of those two choices, the 243 hands down. The 24 is, well, I will be polite and say nothing.
I am not a big fan of PAM Subs but would wear the 389 in a heartbeat. The ceramic of the 389's bezel gives it much needed contrast. The 389 is awesome. |

Thanks for all your feedback, I certainly see how you guys feel about the 243 :)
In the end I picked the 24 for 2 reasons. I wear these watches in a rotation and the 24 would work better under a shirt sleeve. Also, the 24 is from Richard Fain (Faingator) and I have much higher confidence buying from one of TRF's best sellers. Thank you all. Maybe I will pick up a 243 later :) |

I have the 24, and feel that it is a true classic. It's not a SE or LE, but it's proportions are classic and versatile. I have a friend who has a 243, and he's always commenting on how much he likes the bigger face on my 24.

I'd love to get a 24 and DLC it.
