New member with GMT master

Good afternoon folks, thought I'd introduce myself after being a lurker for a few weeks, I was lucky enough to receive a GMT from my wife as a birthday present a couple of weeks ago. Bit of a story which you might find interesting.....I was looking to buy either a decent watch, planet ocean, etc after spending about 3 hours in total at the local dealers, and them getting certain watches in for me to view, I went with my daughter to go an get one, had a choice of 2, sat there looking and my daughter said leave it if you're not 100% certain, which I did, I knew (and my wife and daughter knew I guess), I really wanted a rolex gmt but thought it was out of reach, hence the doubt, anyway, come the birthday my wife said, lets go get one, didn't need asking twice!!

I do enjoy watches and it will be an all rounder outside of work.

I've put a pic of my watches below and I'll list them in no particular order, just as a bit of fun in seeing if you can match watch to list!!

1- hands on type stuff workhorse

2- meal out dressed in shirt

3- out for a few beers

4- wife's getting dressed up out for a meal

5- was my dads needs repair

6- I thought I'd got the dogs bits when I was into motorsports nearly 30 years ago (still going)

7- everyday office type work

8- just a gorgeous watch I bought 30 years ago and left in a draw till 6 months ago

Been dying to contribute to some of threads but thought an introduction should come first!

Cheers
