I should have bought it.........

I was in Hawaii on vacation last week and at the Rolex boutique in Waikiki they had a Black/Blue GMTII for sale. Salesperson said they just received 2, sold one and the other for sale. Would have cost me list price, would have shipped it so no tax, and the store would have paid for shipping, so list price, not a bad deal. Then we went onto Maui, found a Rolex dealer there and missed one at the Barron and Leeds store by about 3 hours.

Yep - that's called bypassed remorse

It can be cured by a few strolls through the TRF Classifieds - no tax!

And prices should adjust, so a little discount on that piece is in the horizon...

Wasn't meant to be at the time, it will come along, as others have said no shortage.

I'm sure Rolex will put out another 10.000 or so of them during the next year... Plenty are going to be around.

Easy come, easy go.

I'm sure you'll have plenty of other opportunities to get one, maybe with an even better deal.

My friend. Remember that Rolex makes 800k-1 million Machine made watches annually.

As they said earlier, if you wait a year you will get your 10% discount. This is not patek Phillip that produces 15000 watches a year only.

Have you noticed that Rolex hasn't increased their prices this year?! Guess why? They have to move last year stock first and they haven't. They want your business more that you need their watches. For the record I'm a Rolex freak

These will be available with a discount soon, the question is more, if they will be cheaper afterall incase another price hike happens in the meantime.

I'd say, that you won't get the blue- black for less than 9k next year....
