Help - Is Rolex still be shipping Z serial numbers?
Today I received from my AD the lady's DJ that I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Prior to the sale, I was told that both my GMT and her DJ would be M serial numbers. Although they had my GMT in stock, they did not have the lady's DJ in stock, and said they would order from Rolex. Upon inspection, the lady's DJ has a Z serial number (Z51****).
Would Rolex still be shipping out Z serial numbers? The only thing that crossed my mind was that the lady's DJ may not sell as much, so Rolex might still have some Zs in inventory. Does this sound unusual at all? |

Yes, they are still shipping Z serials, esp. on less popular models. I got my wife's ladies DJ 1 week ago with Z serial, ordered from Rolex.
