green lettering on GMTIIc
I got a funny feeling that rolex will someday take away the green lettering on GMTIIc like the red submariner. Do you think that will happen?

that is a good question. it is very hard to see and makes it almost imposable for me to see the gmt hand at a glance. it wouldn't surprise me if it was changed for those reasons alone. don't get me wrong. i love my watch but the dark green is hard to see against the black dial.

I hope they change it soon along with the 24hr hand. I'll buy one then.

That is what I love about the green writing. Very subtle!

yes, i agree with you. it is very subtle and i like the overall look. being that i really don't like rolex's corporate color of green i thought it was a very nice very small but noticeable use of it. i think it was very tastefully done but i still can't see the gmt hand at a glance. i have to really look at the watch to find it. i think when the other versions finally show up they will have the red lettering/gmt hand and it will be easier to read quickly. i am quite sure they will look good also. |

When looking for the 24hr hand, I do not look for a green hand, but rather the arrow on the end of it.

I actually like the green, and find myself hoping they don't change it. Surprised myself.

The Green is Ok, to me. But the red 24hr hand is more contrast than the green one. I think yes, they sure replace that Green lettering someday. But dunno when...
