Mid sized Yachtmaster bracelet
Does anyone know if the mid size Yachtmaster was ever available with a choice of a men's or women's bracelet?

Rolex catalog has 4 bracelets for the 35mm YM - two 13 link 2-tone Oysters [78753 & 78743] and two 14 link SS Oysters [78750 & 78740].
Gender isn't mentioned in the catalog.

This threw me off when looking for my wifes
yachtmaster. There are two different part numbers for the bracelets on each of the midsize yachtmasters however based on the pictures in the bracelet catalog they appear to be the same except for having one less link. In particular, the taper, and clasp size appears to be the same. In the current catalog they aren't listed as 'mens' vs 'ladies'. In the older 2008 catalog they are listed as 'mens' and 'ladies', but still had the same part numbers as the current catalog. In SS, the 78740 has 13 links, the 78750 has 14. In TT, 78743 has 13 links, the 78753 has 14. In 18K, 78748 has 13, the 78758 has 14. FYI, the width of a removable link on the 78753 (measured from a 168623) is 14mm. Clasp width is 15mm. Jack D. |
