I feel that the yg is a little bit to musch 'screamy' for me. I believe also that the wg Will become My cop of Tea. Best regards/ Putte |

Nothing wrong with YG either. I just prefer the GMTIIc in that metal.

This man's a genius.....I concur, gold is golden yellow! What is the obsession w/ WG???? Looks like SS to the naked eye....bah humbug...same thing w/ platinum, same thing, looks like SS to the naked eye......bah humbug again. Auric G. & I prefer YG. P.S. They wrote a song about gold......Goldfinger...it isn't whitegoldfinger or platinumfinger.

Let me throw one more complication into your decision. It is my understanding that the YG (along with the TT) is now coming in the new retro cobalt blue sunburst dial while the WG model will continue to come with the flat blue dial. Right now you might find the YG in both of these dials but just something to consider if you have a preference for one dial over the other.

If I had a WG watch would I tell others it was SS because I was embarrased about its cost? Or would I wear a YG watch and I not have to say anything?

I saw the yg sub with sunburst dial in tha AD today and it looks awesome. The best term I have heard for the WG sub is "Stealth Wealth" in that only those who know what it is will know what it is worth. Otherwise it looks like most other SS watches. That being said I dont know if I would wear a full gold sub in white or yellow.

White gold is very classy for a Sub. Good luck...

Yellow gold, I think. But, in gold, I prefer the GMT.

GMTIIc YG (I prefer the green dial) is one of the most stunning watches I have ever laid eyes on.
But if you're getting a sub, definitely the WG. |

Gold is yellow and steel and white gold look too much the same at first sight. Yellow in my opinion.

I think gold should be yellow or rose. The only white color i like is Platina.
altough with platina and white gold its almost the same story, why pay that much extra for platina when there is white gold. The only thing i can think of is that platina is a much harder material than white gold. Its much harder to shape it into the right form also. |

For your 1st gold watch you have no choice - go for the luxury of YG.
I have 2 YG and now I'm going for WG or Platty but thats because I dot want anyone to know its gold. |
