Bracelet Question
Hey Guys,
I don't know if I am just imagining this. But, my Sub-C bracelet is way heavier than the bracelet of my previous sub (which had the older clasp). Are the older style bracelets hollow, or is the clasp just heavier on the new ones? What's giving the extra weight? Thanks! |

Bracelet as well as the clasp should be heavier.

I liked the tinny feel of the old bracelets. Just feels more Rolexy. I just made up that word

I really agree that the lighter subs and bracelets felt better. True of the old Expl.II also IMHO...

Thanks guys! So the old brackets were solid though right? (Not hollow)?
The reason I am asking is because I am buying "something" (undecided on model) in yellow gold. Thinking an older Daytona or Yacht. But I don't want an older one in gold if the links are hollow. I want something solid! |

Then again, the heft and sense of presence that a TT or gold bracelet gives while maintaining a great comfort level is fantastic too. |

I recently installed the subc glidelock bracelet on my 16610. It defiantly made the overall weight of the watch more, but I love that about it. It just feels more rugged now. Plus I am able to keep the original bracelet in new condition while I wear this watch.
