Info. on this Submariner 16613 Please!!

I'm looking at buying this Rolex Sub 16613, but not sure about certain things. My concerns are the seller indicates that he purchased it used from another party. That original seller told the current owner that its' a "Retro" watch. Not sure what that means. Also they current seller doesn't know what the year of manufacturer is. Lastly, I've never seen one that didn't have the "all gold" band. Can someone please provide me some more input on this watch. Any and all help is appreciated. I would really appreciate any additional advice on what questions to ask or other items that may be of interest for a prospective buyer to find out. Thanks in advance.

I can't vouch for the authenticity but I believe the earlier two-tones did not have gold through the clasp.

As far as the "retro" statement, I hope it wasn't "repro".

Well the old ones did not have gold through the clasp that's normal btw that's a ladies box not for a sub.

Do your homework on the veracity of the seller. Good luck....
