I need some help, guys!
I want to get a new Rolex before the price increase, and I am absolutely torn. I am torn between the TT Bluesy,YM, or the TT Datejust (Rose gold, black dial, rose gold roman numerals, domed bezel, oyster bracelet).Which should I pick? I already have a SeaDweller.Rolex pisses me off in that none of their models are models that I would never consider getting(okay, 'cept for the Daytona Leopard), so making a decision is HARD! I love the way the Datejust looks, with the rose gold making a gorgeous contrast with the black dial and gold roman numerals, but I wonder if I would wear it, since its small?I am also on the fence about the datejust because I have never seen it for sale preowned here or on TZ, whereas the others can be had pretty readily on the preowned market. So I would HAVE to get that particular model from my AD.Has anyone here bought a Datejust only to find that they never wear it because its too small? Please help, guys!!

Why do you not just pick the one that smile at you?

I would go with the blue sub or datejust. Just IMO. Pick the one that you are most comfortable with.

Vince, I would go for the DJ (SS/RG, but on a Jubilee bracelet) since you would get great versatility. Yes, the DJ sure is much smaller than the SD, but it is only a matter of time and you will get used to wearing the DJ and will feel it as a nice change when you feel like wearing something different.

Vince, I suggest you go to an AD and try some DJ variations on. Yes the DJ is smaller than the sports models, but it's a classic and sooooo comfy. I agree with Bo too as far as the jubilee bracelet.
If you decide in the end that a DJ just isn't for you though, my vote goes to the YM. Good luck! |

I had similar question last week between TT Daytona, Yachtmaster, Datejust TT yellow gold white face and oyster bracelet roman numerals. I'm new owner of the Platinum Yachtmaster now and very very happy with it.
Here is WHY!!! |

Go to an AD and pick the one you like best on your wrist.
