Gifts from Rolex???

This might sound like a silly question, but will Rolex send you a gift in the mail? I remember when I bought my Breitling a few years back, I got a baseball cap w/ a letter of thanks and a pocket knife the next. Also, whenever I visit my AD, my sales rep lets me know when they get the new catalogue for me to take home and drool over. Should I expect anything like this from Rolex or my Rolex AD?

The AD may give you a trinket or two, but don't hold your breath waiting for anything from Rolex.

Unfortunately, they don't. I was also impressed when I bought my Panerai; I got a baseball cap, a thank you note and a year agenda (desk) with pretty good panerai pics. I still get letters from them and complimentary brochures.

From the AD they may give you something, but from Rolex nope. BTW if you call Rolex at 212 758 7700, they'll ship you a polishing cloth at your request.

You get the cleaning cloth with the rolex logo. What else could you possibly want after dropping 12K on a watch?

Rolex needs to improve the packaging of the watches. I don't care for hats, shirts, etc, but the boxes/accessories really do need a huge upgrade.

I like the idea of thank you letters and desk agendas. Catalogs, too. Yeah, you might think they would...

I didn't get any trinkets when I purchased my watch. I didn't get the green wallet either. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. After hearing that a few others received pens, paper weights of pocket knives, I was hoping to get a little something Oh well, at least I got my dream watch!

usually it is the rolex ad that gives you the goodies. on my last rolex purchase the sales rep i have established a relationship with gave me a rolex ballcap, a rolex gold pen and a rolex leather note pad (the one with rolex, rolex, rolex embossed in green leather all over the front and back of the notepad), the notepad came with a caran d'ache green pen. i have saw the pens sell on ebay for 180.00 and the desk note pad i'm told will bring close to 400.00, these premium goodies are given to the dealers for employees and customers and they are hard to get. the best way i've found to get them is to take care of the sales rep, send them a gift card. i sent my rolex sales person a 50.00 gift card at a nice restaurant when they called me on the milgauss i bought from them. i was very thankful for being called about it and getting the goodies and they have promised me the next daytona that comes in. so it doesn't hurt to grease the sales rep palm....

I get a large Rolex calendar to hang on the wall from my AD every year.

David "the Hoff" Hasselhoff also got a nice Rolex pen just recently from the AD where he bought his SS Sub Date.

I wonder if that would work with Rolex Australia?

I read the watches are not shipped with the packaging. The AD puts the watch in the box.

When I picked up my s/s daytona in switzerland, I bought the sales manager, who rang me, a good bottle of Australian Wine.

Didn't get zip!

Rolex has been sending me calanders for a few years. Mind you, I've spent a few grand on services.

Thank you letters?

Do we now have to write Rolex thank you letters for the priviledge of buying a watch?

You asked...
Would Rolex send you a gift... like Breitling did.. If you buy one or more of their watches?

You should HAVE SAID
Thank you Rolex for the extreme FAVOR TO SELL ME A WATCH..???
What gift would YOU like...SO YOU can send THEM a GIFT
