Rolex Tudor 7904 Manual - Crown over Cross

I have a small collection of mint early Tudor watches.
Amongst them, I have an mint Rolex Tudor 7904. The watch has a low serial number 1354XX. The watch is fitted with a winding crown marked with the Rolex crown logo over a Swiss cross. The crown logo is of an elongated type, and the winding crown is of a slimmer profile than found on Rolex's from 60's and 70's.

I have seen Rolex Brevette marked winding crowns, but never one like this.....is it authentic?????.......your comments and information on this winding crown varient would be much appreciated

Philip,

I've seen that configuration (Crown over Cross) but I'm having a senior moment and can't place the where or when.

I know that Rolex used a Swiss Cross in the 40's on the crowns..
