I am looking at a Submariner D series 16610 on timezone for 3950.00. It seems to be in excellent condition. Do you guys think it's a good buy?

$4k is good for a mint D 16610. It's a little on the low side for a dealer; little on the high side for a private seller.

It's not a great deal, though--so don't feel like you have to jump on it. 10 more will come along at that price in the next month.

I compared the price to european prices. Currencies confuse me

I know where you can get Z series, like brand new, all boxes, papers, etc, bought about 6 months ago from local AD in orlando..

Selling for 4050.00 Let me know. Its a personal friend of mine.

The deal might be okay, but buy the seller before buying the watch. I am not saying it's a bad seller, but it always pays to check out the seller first.

Thanks for the good advice. The seller is actually a local pilot that is willing to meet at a local AD to verify authenticity. With that in mind is the pricing good?

I agree, I would go with a new Z, especially at this price!
