44mm Rose Gold Offshore
Guys,
I am really loving the way the 44mm ROO fills my wrist and there is only one left amongst all the AD of London. Does the 44mm Rose Gold Offshore look odd with a suit or tux? Is it inappropriate for a work atmosphere? Is it not the right watch for someone who doesn't have a few other, dressier watches? The dealer said they are releasing a really nice leather strap for the Rose Gold Offshore. Have any of you seen the watch on a nice leather, or even better, a horn leather strap? Does the Rubber look better? Pics would be great. Thanks, Farris |

RG is a great watch but it is top heavy. You seem to be jumping on lots of different models on the forum. I would find a watch that you like then find the best deal you can on it. Nothing rare about the 44mm as far as availability goes. Best of luck.

GRAB IT!
That watch is a perfect dress up or down watch. If you are okay with weight, I can't think of a better choice. |

The 44mm looks great on you Farris, in my opinion even better than the ROC in your other thread. You could always add a 15400 to it if you wanted something a bit more subtle for work. That said if I had a 44mm RG I would want to wear it all the time, it's a beauty.

ROO 44mm looks great with a suit - keep in mind your shirts may need to be custom as the cuffs may be too tight! If you are really worried about looks swap it with a leather strap. IMO the GP strap makes it more casual; better with polo and jeans.

Hi fellow RG44 owners, I heard that they are now offering the hornback on the 44 case, the AP Svc centre in Singapore has them

With a suit, probably OK but would probably go something a bit more toned down. I have tried to wear the 44MM SS with a suit before and honestly thought it looked a little out of place. I wore a 15400 with a suit this past weekend and thought it looked great.
With a tux is when you are pushing the envelope quite a bit I think. |

For me (And this is only my opinion) this type of watches dont work well with suits or higher. It really looks odd. Better to go RO or Patek with suits. My two cents.

Its not really suited for a suit or tux IMO, though it can be done of course.
If nothing else make sure you get shirts made with big enough cuffs to take it !! |

It's not ideal for suits but it could work.

I really don't see it with a tux, it is too big to consider it formal, even with a leather strap , you can always use what you want but for a formal watch I would go a different route.

just wear it no matter what suit it is, nobody care for your wrist unless yourself.

It goes very well with a suit IMO, pretty much goes down to the person

Didn't think there was a hornback like the 42mm.
It's just a flat leather strap. Not as attractive. |
